The Sindh High Court expressed annoyance on Monday at the investigating officials for failure to recover missing persons. A two-member bench, headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, summoned the heads of the relevant joint-investigation teams along with reports at the next hearing. Irked at the JIT officials and police for their failure to recover, the court observed that the JIT meetings also remained inconclusive.
NIA chargesheets Bengaluru ophthalmologist in ISKP case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday filed a chargesheet against Abdur Rehman, an ophthalmologist from Basavanagudi,who was arrested in August 2020 in connection with a case related to the Islamic State-Khorasan Province (ISKP). It was filed in the Special NIA Court, New Delhi, under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
The 28-year-old doctor who worked at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College has been charged with furthering the ideology and activities of proscribed terrorist organisation ISIS/ISKP in connivance with five other accused in the case for committing subversive and anti-national activities in India. He allegedly used his medical knowledge of ophthalmic lasers and other devices to develop applications for the medical and military requirements of ISIS.

Turkish actor Celal AL, who played the role of Abdur Rehman Alp in famous Turkish drama serial Dirilis: Ertugrul, visited on Sunday Omair-Sana Foundation (OSF) and the Children Hospital Karachi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal where he donated blood for the child patients of thalassaemia and met children suffering from the blood disease.
“I’m donating my blood for the Pakistani children suffering from thalassaemia. This would not only strengthen the bond between Turkey and Pakistan but also encourage others to donate blood for those who need blood donations for living normal lives,” he said during his visit to the OSF and the hospital on invitations from the administrations of both the health facilities.

KARACHI: Renowned Turkish actor Celal Al, who played the role of Abdur Rehman Alp in famous Turkish drama serial Dirilis: Ertugrul, on Sunday visited Omair-Sana Foundation (OSF) and Children s Hospital Karachi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and donated blood for children diagnosed with thalassemia.

This will not only strengthen the bond between Turkey and Pakistan but will also encourage others to donate blood for those who need blood donations for living normal lives,” he said, during his visit on the invitation of administrations of both the health facilities.
