ATC records statements of Uzair in attempted murder, explosives cases

An anti-terrorism court recorded the statements of Lyari gangster Uzair Baloch and other accused on Friday. The ATC was hearing three out of the eight on-going cases against Uzair and others at the Karachi Central Jail.
How does a rocket launcher explode, asked the court of Uzair, during the hearing. Uzair replied that a rocket springs out of the launcher and explodes when it hits an object, such as a car. Uzair added that he has seen this happen in movies.

The Sindh High Court expressed annoyance on Monday at the investigating officials for failure to recover missing persons. A two-member bench, headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, summoned the heads of the relevant joint-investigation teams along with reports at the next hearing. Why have the missing persons not been recovered yet? inquired Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, during the hearing.
Irked at the JIT officials and police for their failure to recover, the court observed that the JIT meetings also remained inconclusive.
Cops find bodies of two ‘abducted’ men

The bodies of four men, including two kidnapped persons, were found from different areas of the city on Sunday.
The body of a man was found near the power house in Awami Colony. The police arrived on the spot and shifted the body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Riaz and his body bore wounds and torture marks. The case pertaining to Riaz s kidnap was registered two days ago at Korangi Industrial Area (KIA) Police Station, after which the police had taken some suspects into custody but no further progress was made in the investigation.
