The Resident Doctors Association, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) Delhi on Monday declared that they will observe June 1 as Black Day condemning the derogatory and disgraceful statements made by Mr. Ram Kisan Yadav (yoga guru Ramdev) .
The RDA said that amidst the second wave of COVID-19, our fraternity of Corona Warriors has been striving hard to save our dearest motherland against the deadly pandemic. Despite the solemn pride of selflessly working out our abilities and even gloriously making supreme sacrifices; a new insensitive and insulting controversy by Mr. Ram Kisan Yadav alias Ramdev Baba has been brought in the spotlight challenging and questioning the modern system of evidence-based medicine and making the joint efforts made by us all fighting the pandemic seem utterly naive and futile .

NEW DELHI: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Director Randeep Guleria on Friday said that antibodies against the Novel Coronavirus disease may last for up to eight months or longer pursuant to the vaccination, adding that scientists are aggressively studying the long-term protection provided by the vaccines.
Guleria, who is also a member of the National Task Force on COVID-19, answered a batch of questions related to the vaccines on Twitter earlier in the day. People tweeted to him using #VaccineVarta, following which he reverted to them.

The health condition of Union Minister Shripad Naik, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Goa hospital following a major accident on Monday, has improved.
Naik s vital parameters are stable. His blood pressure is normal. He is maintaining an oxygen saturation of 98 per cent, said an official from the Goa Medical College & Hospital (GMCH).

Naik, who is the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), is being monitored by a joint team of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and the GMCH. The team from AIIMS had arrived in Goa on Tuesday.
