BROOKLYN, NY A Brooklyn high school has been named the second best in the state and is among the top high schools in the country, according to a new ranking by U.S. News and World Report.
Brooklyn Technical High School ranked number two in the New York list of U.S. News Best High Schools for 2021, an annual ranking of how high schools compare at the national, state and local level.
Detroit Lakes High School gets high marks from U.S. News and World Report
The school has been named a 2021 Best High School, ranking 32nd in the state of Minnesota and 2,114th in the nation, out of more than 17,800 public high schools. 4:40 pm, Apr. 28, 2021 ×
Detroit Lakes High School has the opportunity to hang another Best High School plaque on its wall, after earning the title again in U.S. News and World Report s 2021 school rankings. This plaque, made after the school was ranked 49th in Minnesota in 2018, hangs in the school office today. This year, the school is ranked 32nd in the state. (Marie Johnson / Tribune)

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL John Hersey High School has been named among the best high schools in Illinois, according to a new ranking by U.S. News and World Report.
This year s list ranks more than 17,800 public high schools throughout the country.
Among those schools, John Hersey High School was ranked No. 21 in Illinois and No. 433 nationwide. That marks a decline compared to last year, when U.S. News ranked John Hersey High School No. 8 in the state and No. 296 in the nation.
