CONVENT, La. (AP) A 32-year-old Louisiana man is behind bars, accused of killing his mother and barricading himself inside of a home with his 6-year-old son.
St. James Parish Sheriff Willy Martin Jr. said deputies responded to a shooting in Convent around 4:30 a.m. Thursday, WDSU-TV reported.
