A 15-year-old from Canada has been arrested in Louisiana on a charge he made a phony bomb threat to Princeton University, prompting evacuations of four buildings in September.
A May 3 hearing is scheduled to decide whether the teen, whose name was not released because of his age, can be sent to New Jersey to face a criminal count of second-degree false public alarm, The Times-Picayune/The New Orleans Advocate reported.
The parish doesn’t have a juvenile detention facility, so the teen from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is being held in Mississippi, St. James Parish Sheriff Willy Martin Jr. told the newspaper.
