On the road and trailing in the fourth quarter, the Durango High School boys basketball team put together its best effort of the 2021 season late in Tuesday’s game.
The Demons mounted a 14-1 run late in the fourth quarter with key baskets from Anthony Flint, A.J. Folk, Ty Martinez and Luke Wesley along with strong free-throw shooting. DHS trailed 45-40 early in the fourth quarter but would lead by as much as 55-48 after its big run.

Pamela Miller reports on the details of the report, noting that the city s Inclusionary Zoning program was created to create more affordable housing for low-and-moderate income residents in Atlanta. As of December 2020, there were 362 dedicated affordable units in some stage of development in compliance with the Inclusionary Zoning program, reports Miller of the report s findings.
Previous experiences in other cities cautions against going so far with Inclusionary Zoning requirements that developments are no longer financially viable. Durango High School boys basketball coach Alan Batiste was happy to see balanced scoring and a big game from his big man in the season opener.
The Demons (1-0) hit the road to open the shorted 2021 season and secured a 62-40 victory at Telluride (0-1).
Walter Stauffer score six points and blocked three shots and helped the Demons grab 34 rebounds as a team.
