Night Ranger To Perform At The First Danny Ripepi Memorial Concert

By Ray Davis CLEVELAND–May 3, 2021– The Ripepi Family announced today their plans for The Inaugural Danny Ripepi Memorial Concert benefiting First Responder K9 Units throughout Northeast Ohio.  The concert will take place Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica on the West Bank of the Flats and will feature Multi-Platinum recording artist Night Ranger, Cleveland’s own Beau Coup and High Voltage, the nation’s premier AC/DC Tribute Band. The concert is planned to be an annual celebration to benefit many causes throughout the Greater Cleveland Metropolitan area for years to come. The purpose of the inaugural concert will be to honor Danny’s legacy of giving back and proceeds will go to something he held dear to his heart, helping local police and fire departments.  Proceeds raised will be used to purchase four (4) First Responder K9 Units to be donated to various agencies throughout Northeast Ohio.   This will include the dog, equipment and compl

His son, Hoboken Councilman Michael Russo, said Anthony Russo died of natural causes in his sleep Sunday night. Russo was born and grew up in Hoboken, according to Michael. He worked as a special education teacher before entering politics. In 1991, he was elected to the city council and won the mayoral election in 1993. He served two terms as mayor, losing to David Roberts in 2001.
