Tens of thousands of pg e customers are expected to remain in the dark for a day, maybe two people in the montclair neighborhood in the Oakland Hills enjoyed the evening as best they could before the lights went out. Restaurants were busy serving customers all they still had power. Many restaurant and storeowners said they anticipate losing thousands of dollars in business during this latest shutoffs. Presently celebrating its 70th anniversary is one of important common achievements over a period of unusually fast paced changes.
