Vondal began her update by informing the board that, to date, Athol has seen 712 cases of COVID-19. Of that number 695 have cleared, leaving as of Tuesday 17 active cases. “As of last Thursday,” she said, “we have been designated as ‘yellow,’ which is moderate risk of transmission. So, that was the second week in a row. That follows two weeks of having high risk of transmission; we had some little mini-outbreaks going on.
