LTNs, schemes to dissuade through traffic on smaller residential streets by filters permeable to people travelling by foot or cycle, but not by private motor vehicle – whether camera-enforced or in the physical form of planters or bollards – are at the centre of a particularly fierce transport-based culture war.

Queer Heritage South Digital Museum now seeks contributions from those wishing to be part of this important online space, hosting rare LGBTQ+ photographs, memorabilia, writing and footage. “Contributions can be fully captioned and credited, uploaded temporarily or forever. Designed for easy navigation, www.queerheritagesouth.co.uk will be fully searchable so viewers can locate the histories and stories that resonate with their own lives.

Data collected through the Zoe King s College tracking app found that women and those who had already had Covid-19 were more likely to experience vaccine side-effects MORE people are experiencing side-effects with the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine than the Pfizer drug, according to new data. Around three in ten people who had the Oxford vaccine reported systemic after-effects including tiredness, headache or chills, compared to one in ten who received the other vaccine. However experts said clinical trials had shown that patients are more likely to experience symptoms after the second dose of the Pfizer drug while the reverse is likely with the Oxford vaccine.
