ROH TV results: Foundation vs MexiSquad, Romero vs Delirious

Rocky Romero defeated Delirious in a Pure rules match (14:52) Delirious had a pre-match promo discussing his history with Romero. He revealed that his first ROH event was also Romero’s first in the company as well and that a scar above his eye is from one of the many battles they had years ago.  Romero also reflected on his past battles with Delirious and made an interesting comment about potentially winning the Pure Championship and defending it in another company he works with such as NJPW. This was his first match in ROH since last August. Both attempted multiple different holds to start the match but to no avail. Romero eventually picked the ankle and got an ankle lock, but Delirious used his first rope break. Once Delirious recovered, Romero hit a few armdrags and sent him reeling to the outside into a commercial break.

Four matches added to ROH 19th Anniversary PPV

Ring of Honor has announced four new additions to the card for their 19th Anniversary pay-per-view. The ROH Tag Team titles will be on the line as La Faccion Ingobernable s Dragon Lee & Kenny King defend against The Foundation s Tracy Williams & Rhett Titus at the 19th Anniversary event. It s also been announced that The Foundation s Jonathan Gresham will defend his ROH Pure Championship against Dak Draper at the PPV. Mark Briscoe vs. Flip Gordon and Dalton Castle vs. Josh Woods (w/ Silas Young) are the other two new additions to the 19th Anniversary card. Dragon Lee & King vs. Williams & Titus is the third La Faccion Ingobernable vs. The Foundation title match that s been announced for the 19th Anniversary show. With every ROH title on the line at the PPV, Dragon Lee and Williams are pulling double duty and also facing each other in a singles match for Lee s ROH Television Championship. Shane Taylor Promotions challenging for ROH Six-Man Tag Team titles

Image: ROH A title match that was originally scheduled for Final Battle will now take place on ROH television later this month. ROH has announced that Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & The Soldiers of Savagery) will challenge for Bandido, Flamita & Rey Horus ROH Six-Man Tag Team titles on the ROH TV episode that premieres the weekend of Saturday, February 20.  Shane Taylor Promotions were set to challenge for the Six-Man Tag Team titles at December s Final Battle pay-per-view, but Bandido and Flamita were removed from the show due to pre-travel COVID-19 testing. Taylor and The Soldiers of Savagery (Moses & Kaun) were interviewed at Final Battle and refused to win the Six-Man Tag Team titles by forfeit. Taylor said they wanted to win the titles the right way.

A video package is shown on Josh Woods and Dalton Castle.  Josh Woods and Dalton Castle make their entrances. Pure Rules Match:  Josh Woods vs. Dalton Castle After a brief back and forth, Castle steps out of the ring. They lock up as Castle gets back in the ring. Woods brings Castle to the mat with an arm-lock. Woods eventually hits a German Suplex on Castle. Woods pins Castle for a two count. Woods hits a Gut Wrench Suplex on Castle. Castle hits a German Suplex on Woods. Woods connects with a kick to the midsection of Castle. They exchange forearm strikes. Woods drives his knee into the back of Castle. Woods reverses Castle’s Bang-A-Rang finisher into a Cloverleaf Body-Scissors. Castle taps out.
