FT. SILL, Okla. (TNN) - Fort Sill officials reported Thursday afternoon that Special Agents from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command are investigating allegations of sexual assault.
The allegations were reported by a female trainee and involve Fort Sill cadre.
Officials say the cadre potentially involved in the allegation have been suspended from their normal duties, removed from any trainee environment, and are all being presumed innocent pending a full and thorough investigation.

FT. SILL, Okla. (TNN) - Senior leadership on Fort Sill received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Friday.
Health care providers and first responders have already received their vaccine as part of the previous phase. The next phase includes members of leadership such as Commanding General Kenneth Kamper.
Officials say that deploying units who chose to receive to have also been vaccinated already.
Command Sgt. Major Steve Burnley says he got the vaccine to protect himself and his family and he hopes he can set an example for others.

FT. SILL, Okla. (TNN) - Ft. Sill held a retirement ceremony Friday afternoon.
The ceremony was held at the Cache Creek Chapel in honor of 12 people who have dedicated over 20 years of service to the armed forces.
Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin Bowens spoke to 7News about his new journey of starting his civilian career, even though he says he’ll miss the military life.
“The challenge that I face is that you don’t have that connection, you don’t have that dependency that you know was there at Fort Sill. Even though I’m retiring I still want to be part of that community, dealing with the military and sharing the knowledge that I have. And as I go back and forth, giving back to remembering how I got here,” said Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin Bowens of the 75th Field Artillery Brigade.

FT. SILL, Okla. (TNN) - Ft. Sill held a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony of a renovated building on Thursday.
The building was dedicated to Lieutenant John Fox, a Medal of Honor recipient for his heroic actions in World War II. The building will be called Fox Hall and will be used as a headquarters for 1-22nd Field Artillery Battalion.
The new addition will be used to house and train soldiers and will allow Fort Sill to have more trainees go through basic combat training each year.
