UPDATE 7 PM WEDNESDAY: Pigeon Forge police say Ada Hauser, 81, has been found safe and is back with her family.
PREVIOUS STORY: Pigeon Forge police are asking for the public s help to find an 81-year-old woman who hasn t been heard from since telling her husband she was going grocery shopping Wednesday morning.
Ada Louise Hauser is 5 feet, 3 inches and weighs about 180 pounds. She has gray hair and blue eyes, according to a notice from the Pigeon Forge Police Department.
Authorities fear for her safety.
PIGEON FORGE â A woman reported missing in Pigeon Forge was found safe Wednesday night.
Ada Hauser was found safe and is back with her family in Pigeon Forge, Lt. Matthew Pendleton said.Â
Her husband first reported her missing on Wednesday after she did not return from a shopping trip to the Pigeon Forge Kroger. She had left home Wednesday morning and had last been seen at the grocery store.Â
The Mountain Press learned Hauser had been found after print deadline on Wednesday evening.
