CBI to seek MEA, Interpol s cooperation to find missing fugitive Mehul Choksi ANI | Updated: May 25, 2021 12:46 IST By Ashoke Raj New Delhi [India], May 25 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) launched its probe and approached the Antigua embassy in India soon after reports that fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi had gone missing in Antigua surfaced. The Central Bureau of Investigation is contacting the Embassy of Antigua in India to seek confirmation about the news of Mehul Choksi missing and more details through diplomatic channels, agency sources told ANI. CBI sources said it is a matter of concern that Mehul Choksi has gone missing.

In this wave, coolies are more worried as passengers at the railway station are unwilling to take their services due to fear of the coronavirus. There are about 1,478 coolies at the NDRS and they all are struggling to earn enough for a single day. Unable to cope with the impacts of the lockdown and the pandemic,Railway porters are seeking financial asistance.

Air India ferrying Zeolite for DRDO to boost oxygen production ANI | Updated: May 15, 2021 13:24 IST By Ashoke Raj New Delhi [India], May 15 (ANI): To meet the demand of oxygen supply in the country amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, India s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has chartered the National Carrier Air India (AI) to import Zeolite from different countries. Government of India is in the process of importing Zeolite from different parts of the world, for use in Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) plants to boost oxygen supplies in the country. DRDO has been appointed by GOI as a charterer for these consignments. Air India will bring in zeolite for DRDO from different parts of the world, Air India spokesperson told ANI.

On not presenting negative COVID report, SpiceJet crew spent 21 hrs in plane, then returned ANI | Updated: May 15, 2021 19:27 IST By Ashoke Raj New Delhi [India], May 15, ANI: Upon not presenting a mandatory negative RT-PCR report at the Zagreb airport in Croatia, the entire SpiceJet crew had to spend 21 hours inside the aircraft and then return to the country. The flight took off from Delhi on Tuesday and landed at the Zagreb airport where the Croatia Aviation Authority did not allow SpiceJet s crew to step out of the plane. According to SpiceJet spokesperson, the aviation authority had given a go-ahead to enter the country without a COVID test report when the flight departed from India.
