MORRISTOWN — State police charged two Ogdensburg residents with unlawfully publishing an intimate image stemming from an April 25 complaint from the town of Morristown. Katherine H. House, 21, was charged at 11:45 a.m. Thursday and Brian M. McDonald, 30, was charged at 10:32 a.m. Saturday. Both individuals were released on appearance tickets. State police charged two individuals following an alleged domestic dispute Sunday. Victoria L. Burnham, 24, of Hermon, was charged with a felony count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance- stimulants and a misdemeanor count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Richard K. Reese, 24, of DeKalb, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Both individuals were ordered held.

Opinion: War heroes honored for service in Ogdensburg

Thursday, May 6, 2021 - 9:28 am To the Editor: The people of Ogdensburg and surrounding area should rightly be proud of the young men who served in the armed services during World War II. I m sure that the families of these men are, as I am, pleased that the Pride and Beautification Commission created the program, named Hometown Hero Banners, which made it possible to have portraits of some of the service members to be displayed along Ford Street in Ogdensburg. These soldiers, many of them only teenagers, made it possible for us to have democracy preserved. Some never survived to walk the street where their picture is now displayed.

Fort Myers Police Department says one person was shot while driving by a nearby store. Police confirmed the person shot was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital and was undergoing surgery. Police said multiple shots were fired but were unable to confirm if it was a drive-by shooting. Investigators had two people detained, but no arrests have been made. Date Time Police arrest four after Box Hill aggravated carjacking Police have arrested four male teens following an aggravated carjacking in Box Hill early this morning. Police allege a 40-year-old man was parked on Collins Street when four males appeared and opened the doors to his car about 2.40am. The victim was allegedly threatened with a knife and dragged out of his car before the four offenders drove off in the victim’s White Suzuki Baleno. Hours later, investigating Police located the vehicle on Ford Street, Ivanhoe at about 10.30 AM, before the police Air Wing continued observations on the stolen Suzuki hatchback allegedly travelling at high speed.
