ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Phoebe Putney Health System has released its latest COVID-19 numbers for Feb. 12.
As of noon Friday, these were Phoebe’s COVID-19 numbers:
Total COVID-19 patients in Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital – 72
Total COVID-19 patients in Phoebe Sumter Medical Center – 13
Total COVID-19 patients in Phoebe Worth Medical Center – 0
Total inpatients recovered – 1,980
Total positive deaths from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital – 234
Total positive deaths from Phoebe Sumter – 59
Total vaccines administered – 26,518

SUMTER COUNTY, Ga. (WTVM) - Just a mile or two away from downtown Americus, Georgia is Phoebe Sumter Medical Centerâs new vaccination clinic.
The new vaccination clinic is being held at the Georgia National Guard Armory on Adderton Street. Phoebe Sumter Medical Center is conducting the vaccines says with this new facility, they can vaccinate up to 400 people a day.
While originally they were providing vaccines at their hospital location, organizers felt like their space wasnât allowing many more people in to get the vaccine.

âIn the last week, we have seen a 20 percent decrease in COVID-19 hospitalizations. Total COVID-19 patients in Phoebe Sumter Medical Center â 22
Total COVID-19 patients in Phoebe Worth Medical Center â 0
Total inpatients recovered â 1,897
Total positive deaths from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital â 232
Total positive deaths from Phoebe Sumter â 58
Total vaccines administered â 17,059
