FAIRFIELD The City Council is expected Tuesday to grant preliminary approval for two cannabis retail permits and one manufacturer’s permit.
The public hearing on the retail permits was carried over from the March 2 meeting. There are five finalists for the two permits.
There is only one applicant for the manufacturer’s permit, 3Bros. Fairfield, which plans to locate the business at 2445 S. Watney Way if it gets the permit.

The two potential vendors that scored the highest in the application steps were Responsible & Compliant Retail Fairfield LLC, which proposes a location of 180 Serrano, Suite A, and East of Eden North Bay LLC, which proposes a location at 1740 Travis Blvd.

FAIRFIELD The City Council will consider a sales tax sharing incentive agreement Tuesday for a new BMW dealership, as well as review a 2020-21 budget update.
BMW of North America has obtained the right to purchase a 4.8-acre vacant parcel in the Fairfield Auto Mall, 2390 Auto Mall Parkway, between Hopkins Acura and Caliber Collision.
The dealer proposes to construct a 48,255-square-foot building that includes a new car sales showroom, sales offices, operations offices, parts sales and storage and a service shop.
