Former International Table Tennis Federation-Oceania president and Fiji Table Tennis Association president Anthony Ho has passed away.
Ho who was born on Thursday, November 24, 1960, passed away on the morning of Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the age of 60 years old.
Commencing from his teenage years, Ho was dedicated to the sport of table tennis and only recently had his efforts been recognised.
“In 2004, Mr Ho became president of the Fiji Table Tennis Association and a member of the Oceania Table Tennis management committee; soon after in 2005 he was elected a member of the ITTF board of directors,” said a statement released by the ITTF.

THE Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC) through its Athletes and Communities Engagement (ACE) program joined the Fiji Table Tennis Association (FTTA) to celebrate World Table Tennis Day on Saturday April 10 at the Sukuna Park in Suva.
The ACE program was invited by the Fiji Table Tennis to be part of the event with the global theme being ‘gender equality and the empowerment of women in media, advertising and communications’.
