Naivorovoro Road is just past Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi which leads to the new Wainibuku subdivision. Residents had earlier raised concerns with Legend FM News about large potholes and the danger it is causing to both drivers and pedestrians.

Picture: SUPPLIED Five crossings in the Northern Division are reported to have been completely submerged and the access have been closed to all traffic. The Fiji Roads Authority says this is a result of heavy rain experienced in the country yesterday. The crossings that have been closed are the Buavou crossing and Lalakoro crossing in Natua, Seaqaqa; Qelemumu crossing outside Labasa; Zailav crossing in Labasa; and Wariki crossing along Navakuru Rd. Flooding at the Qawa crossing, Urata crossing, Coqeloa flat and Raranikawai crossing have receded and motorists are advised that those accesses are now open to traffic.

Image: SUPPLIED/FRA Members of the travelling public are advised that Kings Road at Wainawi Bridge in Kasavu will be reduced to a single lane from Wednesday, March 10, 2021. The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) says this will allow for the construction of the new Wainawi bridge. In a statement, the FRA stated the single lane traffic would constitute up to a 30-minute delay during peak hour traffic. “The programmed works of the construction of the new bridge will be executed in two phases and the road will be limited to single lane operation for the duration of construction,” it stated.
