A site safety audit will be carried out by the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) on Varavu Settlement in Ba where a 21-year-old man died after a car accident last week.
Residents have raised concerns with the authority over the number of accidents recorded along the busy stretch.
FRA acting CEO Kamal Prasad said while the concerns had yet to reach the authority, they would be taking appropriate actions to assess the site.
“No concerns have been received from Varavu Settlement on speeding on Kings Rd,” he said.
