LDA acts against illegal commercialisation Development authority sealed a private college and girls’ hostel LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has sealed several buildings over unauthorised commercialisation and demolished illegal structures in private housing societies in different areas of the metropolis. On direction of LDA Director General (DG) Ahmad Aziz Tarar, the officials of the Town Planning Wing V conducted an operation on Defence Road, Raiwind Road, private housing colonies Sultan Courts, Sultan Town and Westwood Colony. The LDA officials sealed three buildings in Chinar Courts over illegal commercialisation. The authority also sealed a private college and girls’ hostel for the same reason. The LDA staff sealed another tile store and offices established on plot no 1-15.
