ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Palestine Solidarity Day will be observed today (Friday) across the country to express unity with the innocent people of Palestinian facing the unabated aggression of Zionist forces in Gaza since last week of Ramazan.
The day is being observed on Prime Minister Imran Khan s appeal to support and express solidarity with the Palestinian people who are suffering from the ongoing Israeli attacks.
Protest rallies and demonstrations will be held across the country including AJK and Gilgit Baltistan after Friday prayers keeping in view COVID-19 SOPs to convey the message that the entire Pakistani nation stands by their oppressed Palestinian brothers and sisters.

As we enter the first post-Ramazan week of the Palestinian struggle, the world has erupted in protests calling for a unified approach and help for the abused, though not defeated, residents of Gaza. Protests are being and have been held across the world and are also scheduled to take place across Pakistan.
Karachi
Hundreds of Pakistanis took to the streets in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore on Monday to protest Israel s continued attacks on Gaza, demanding that the Pakistani government as well as world powers intervene to stop the deadly violence that has now claimed more than 200 overwhelmingly Palestinian lives.
In Lahore, the Progressive Students Collective (PSC) and Lahore University of Management Sciences (Lums) students staged a protest at Liberty Chowk in solidarity with the Palestinians and against the Israeli government.
The protest was joined by at least 800 students and local activists.
