Trying times call for travel and Martin Cooper will take community members on a virtual trip to Turkey at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14. Those wishing to attend must email Director@losalamosseniorcenter.com by at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 14. (A current email address is necessary to view the event.)
“My favorite spots were Hattusa, the capital of the 3,600-year-old Hittite empire, and Antalya a city old town that has a very strong cultural flavor,” Cooper said. “The photos of the greater flamingos were especially satisfying because, they were taken at Sultan Sazligi, a marsh that I requested to visit and unknown to our tour guide.”
