Malicious prosecution lawsuit against Lambertville, N J and other officials, dismissed without prejudice after one day

Hollister | Rothberg & Federman PHILADELPHIA – A malicious prosecution suit brought against the City of Lambertville, N.J., two of its public officials and a local contracting firm has been dismissed without prejudice, just one day after it was filed in a Pennsylvania federal court. Academy Hill, Inc. and Merrick Wilson of Yardley first filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on April 27 versus the City of Lambertville, New Jersey, its Zoning Officer Kenneth Rogers and its former Mayor David DelVecchio, plus Joseph Jingoli & Sons, Joseph Jingoli and Michael Jingoli of Lawrence Township, N.J.

The Bayonne Zoning Board has rejected an appeal of the Zoning Officer’s decision involving the new zoning ordinance changes to help storm water management. Special redevelopment counsel Joe DeMarco presented the changes to the zoning regulations to the board at its January meeting. In December, the changes were referred to as proposals instead of something that had already been implemented. Limiting lot coverage The changes further limit the maximum amount of lot coverage that can be built on. Zoning districts are now limited to 70 percent maximum lot coverage, except for industrial districts. Industrial districts are restricted to 80 percent maximum lot coverage.

In a petition signed by homeowners, they cited environmental and health concerns on the cell site tower of Dito Telecommunity, especially that the world is now under the threat of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic. A homeowner in an interview with Sunstar-Bacolod said the property is owned by Barangay Kagawad Ian Ted Lacson and they were only told that he is constructing a swimming pool on his property, which used to be the only vacant lot on St. Therese Avenue, Doña Juliana Subdivision.
