is legal, there is a mystery. one, why president trump ultimately released that military aid to ukraine that he held up for months, which cnn now reports came after a republican senator and the firing of the president s national security adviser. sara murray has done some terrific reporting on this. joins us now with more. what are you learning here? we know the president was under a lot of pressure pby the beginning of september to release this hold on funds. one of the last things he did before finally relenting was speaking to the senator from ohio. on this phone call on september 11th, he made the case that if you don t move to release this money now you are going to lose it because the fiscal year is going to end. ukraine is not going to end these funds and it is going to be a big problem. at the end of the call, the president hung up and he ended upturning to his aids and saying, okay, release the money. and this actually came as a
harris. i think it raises some questions on biden out there, just in terms of, hey, he s not been on the campaign trail that much. sometimes you see that with candidates. they have a bad debate and they turn it around. george w. bush, barack obama, he woke up. biden, by the way, after that first debate in the vp debate it was biden who was sent ipby the campaign to rough up paul ryan. so can a campaign basically tell him, hey, you ve got to bebetter than this, a little stronger next time? does it wake him up that way? that s the question. because i think if you get that same performance when he s challenged like that which is only going to happen more and more as this campaign goes on, that s going to be trouble for him. i was the communications director in 04 after that debate and i remember watching it in the staff room and i was
she said, oh, no, i i never called the police, she says, i just thought he would change. she proceeds to tell me that i documented the injuries with photographs. never produced any photographs for me. for us, pby the way, barbara changed her story. said it was really her father, not her, who accused david of abusing his son. my dad was looking into counselors and having him, you know, evaluated and stuff like that, because i would just be like, this is david, you know, what are you talking about? but, of course, the detective couldn t talk to barbara s father about abuse or murder or anything else. harry britton had been dead for years, but barbara had more information for the detective. she recalled a troubling conversation she d had with david. at the time, said barbara, david was working for coca-cola, delivering the product. he told me that someone was placing drugs on his coca-cola
