The Sindh Assembly witnessed a rumpus on Friday when remarks by an opposition MPA infuriated members of the treasury benches, causing several lawmakers and ministers of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) rushing to attack him while the speaker expunged several remarks and words for being ‘unparliamentarily language’.
The pandemonium started when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Khurrum Sher Zaman, while expressing concern over the rising dog-bite incidents in Sindh and praying for a minor girl who reportedly died due to a canine attack in Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah’s constituency in Jamshoro, remarked that there seemed to be dogs’ rule in the province.

KARACHI: Pakistan cricket team’s opening batsman Fakhar Zaman on Friday said that he wants to score as many runs as possible, make his team win, and be the best batsman in the upcoming sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League.
According to an article by
Geo.tv, Zaman said that it is also very important for him to be back among the run scorers.
“I know that I haven’t been able to score runs the way I wanted and to perform the way I would have loved to, he said. So, this tournament is also important for me to score runs and regain my confidence. I am eager to do well and help my team win the PSL.
ATC rejects bail plea of MPA Faisal Zaman

HARIPUR: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) here on Friday rejected the bail application of Member Provincial Assembly Faisal Zaman.
The MPA, belonging to a wealthy family reportedly owning ships and known asjahazaan wala due to this link, has been behind bars since January 11 in the murder case of PTI’s local leader Malik Tahir Iqbal and a former councillor Sardar Gul Nawaz.
The two were gunned down by unknown attackers on the night of September 13, 2020 when they were on the way to Ghazi from Kotehra village.
Through a four-page written order, the ATC judge, Aurangzeb Khattak, observed that the oral and documentary evidence available on record shows that there was a prima facie case against the accused and he was not entitled to the concession of bail.
