On Saturday, the Minnesota College Republicans issued a news release saying Gisela Castro Medina was arrested, along with Anton "Tony" Lazzaro, 30, on suspicion of "obstruction of justice, sex trafficking, and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of underage victims."
The indictment orders Lazzaro to forfeit $371,240 seized from his home in downtown Minneapolis, as well as the condo itself, a 2010 Ferrari convertible, plus 13 mobile phones, six computers and other electronic items.
A dozen elected leaders in Minnesota's Republican Party, along with the party chairwoman, have vowed to return campaign contributions from a GOP strategist who was indicted by a federal grand jury on child sex trafficking charges.
