Members of the Rebel Alliance found a way to gather for a secret meeting on the second night of Passover.
Led by Princess Leia, also known as Rabbi Abby Jacobson, the rebels met behind the relative safety of their computer screens to thwart the ever-present Empire. If we are together for too long, I m afraid the Empire is going to find us, Jacobson said during the recent Darth Seder, an event that combined a tradition from the Jewish holiday of Passover with the beloved Star Wars franchise.

Dan and Mary Grace Berkowitz of Moore were thrilled when they heard about the Darth Seder. The couple picked up their Seder kits with their daughters Sarah,18, and Willa, 11. I m a big Star Wars fan so when my husband said that s what they were doing, I said, That s what we re doing. I was just so excited about the whole idea, she said.
Her daughter Sarah was a little more hesitant to give the science-fiction twist her approval, at least initially. This is my first themed Seder. so at first, I was really skeptical, But I accept it. It is rather interesting and it s a fun twist, she said.
