Arthur strengthened to a category 2 hurricane last night with winds of about 100 miles per hour. The worst appears to be over for the outer banks of mcincome azar thur heads into the atlantic ocean. The hurricane made landfall just after 11 00 p. M. Near cape lookout. North carolina governor declared a state of emergency for 25 coastal and ajoining counties. Were going to darkness, and weve just been notified that this is a category 2 hurricane, which we want to warn our citizens up the coast and thousands of tourist that is may be dealing with this for the first time. Well, this morning scientists at the European Space agency are attempting a first and cosmic exploration, landing a spacecraft on a comet. The unmanned rosetta spacecraft reached the comet in august after a tenyear chase. Scientists finally gave the final goahead for rosetta to release its lander for the journey to the comet.
