Clarke is also a member of the ad hoc subcommittee steering the improvement effort. "As long as we can incorporate it with our overall plan, I think it's a great idea."
As part of the new recruitment effort, city staff will communicate directly with local nonprofits, institutions and community groups including the Diversity Center, NAACP, local union groups, Cabrillo College, various mental and behavioral health organizations and more.
