The CWA Daggers are one of the major awards for crime novels in the English-speaking world. The novel unfolds around a programming coordinator for a travel company specializing in package tours to disaster-stricken areas. During a trip to a remote desert island, she discovers that the company is trying to fabricate an environmental disaster to make the trip more interesting, putting her own life in danger.
