NEW DELHI: Dynastic politics is the biggest enemy of democracy said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressing the valedictory function of the second National Youth Parliament Festival via video conferencing.
Addressing the young contestants of the Youth Parliament, Modi emphasized on rooting out dynastic politics, PM asserted that the fortune of those who have been winning elections on the basis of surnames are now dwindling.
The National Youth Parliament Festival is organized as part of celebrations on the National Youth Day which is observed to commemorate Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary.
The idea to organize the National Youth Parliament Festival is based on the idea expressed by PM Modi in his Mann Ki Baat address on December 31, 2017.
