More young people are getting infected in the second wave of Covid-19 in India as compared to the first wave last year. People in the age group of 18 to 45 years have often been called silent spreaders of the coronavirus infection and data shows that they account for more than 50 per cent of the recent surge in cases. This is probably because they venture out more frequently.
