The Court held that altering the CA exam dates would disrupt the extensive arrangements already in place for the conduct of the exams by the ICAI and that it could result in grave injustice for some students.
ICAI saw a total of 49,000 registrations at the foundational level, 58,900 registrations at the intermediate level and 21,185 students have registered for the final level since the new scheme was launched on July 1, 2023
