He arrives in philly on saturday, but tonight this is where hes sleeping. T that is the vaticans equivalent of an embassy. The fire trucks, they were scrambling. Reporter witnesses describe what they saw on quintonalloway road which was closed for much of the day. It was pouring down raining. Reporter she was one of the first to get to the car, which she says was wrapped around this utility pole. They tried to get him out but the door was really stuck. It was really hard to get him out of the car. Reporter rescue crews cut mccarson out of the car, but later doctors pronounced him dead at the hospital. He was recently married and lived in Gloucester County. He just became a trooper in february. This was first death on this rural road. Susan cloe remembers when another driver hit the same pole years ago. He died instantly. Its a dangerous curve. Reporter she says the speed limit recently changed from 50 to 35 and she wants to see more. Something that will slow people down. Signs that go way back saying dangerous curve. Its so sad. My heart breaks for him and his family, especially this time of year. Reporter

Good evening, im denise nakano, Edward Archer was arraigned on charges that included attempted murder for thursday nights shooting of Jesse Hartnett. Archer was officially charged, cameras were not allowed in the courtroom. He was arraigned on a total of eight charges, including four felonies. A judge did not grant bail and archers due back in Court January 25th for a preliminary hearing. Nbc10 just talked to Edward Archers grandfather who did not want to be on camera, he tells us he was not aware his grandson had any mental issues. Archer was raised baptist, but converted to islam several years ago, he went to mecca for a year or two, and when he came back, he was a changed person. So they caughted police. We confirmed the special victims unit is still investigating. I havent received nothing from the school district, nobody has called me not even to say were working on it. The school took the allegation seriously, and conducted an internal investigation. They were not able to find anything in regards to leading to the allegations that the mom explained. An assistant was outside the bathroom as required when the little boy says the Sexual Assault took place. The 9yearolds mother disagrees. Nothing is going to make me feel safe. It happened once when it shouldnt have happened but twice . Well continue to work with the mom, wen watt to continue to work with the child. We want the child to be back in school. The boys mother told me the superintendents assistant is going to reach out to them tomorrow to place the child in a school where the boy feels safer. Police are still working this case.
