The fire trucks, they were scrambling. Reporter witnesses describe what they saw on quintonalloway road which was closed for much of the day. It was pouring down raining. Reporter she was one of the first to get to the car, which she says was wrapped around this utility pole. They tried to get him out but the door was really stuck. It was really hard to get him out of the car. Reporter rescue crews cut mccarson out of the car, but later doctors pronounced him dead at the hospital. He was recently married and lived in Gloucester County. He just became a trooper in february. This was first death on this rural road. Susan cloe remembers when another driver hit the same pole years ago. He died instantly. Its a dangerous curve. Reporter she says the speed limit recently changed from 50 to 35 and she wants to see more. Something that will slow people down. Signs that go way back saying dangerous curve. Its so sad.
