A mine worker confronted a manager at a Central Queensland mechanical business and threatened to shoot him in the head.
The heated confrontation happened at a Blackwater workshop last November, and last Thursday the man who instigated the incident, David John Retford, 32, pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court to his offending.
The court heard that on November 4, Retford attended the Blackwater business and asked to see the workshop manager.
He exited the office and walked around to a workshop yard where he approached the manager.
A verbal argument followed.
“It seems a workplace dispute involved a relative of the defendant,” Sgt Dalton said.
