No place for criminals in BJP Kakching, voiced protesters demanding that former MLA of Kakching assembly constituency Y Surchandra must not be given the BJP party ticket.
The Manipur Congress party vice president said that the committee had already unanimously resolved not to issue ticket application form to those former Congress MLAs who had defected from the Congress party by violating the 10th Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
The Supreme Court also allowed the three MLAs to continue representing the electorate in the house of the Legislative Assembly till the disposal of the matter by the Speaker.
