WA Premier Mark McGowan has unveiled his new-look Cabinet following a massive caucus meeting that required the WA Labor Party to find a bigger room.

As expected, the revised ministry included re-elected MPs Amber-Jade Sanderson, Don Punch, Reece Whitby, Tony Buti and John Carey.
They will join Deputy Premier Roger Cook, Sue Ellery, Stephen Dawson, Alannah MacTiernan, David Templeman, John Quigley, Paul Papalia, Bill Johnston, Rita Saffioti, Simone McGurk and Dave Kelly.

There are few other ways to describe Mark McGowan s second landslide election victory as anything short of historic.
Labor have obliterated the WA Liberals, reducing them to a predicted two seats.
It is a victory that is unparalleled in its crushing nature and the largest in the state s history,
West Australians have never put this much faith in one party anywhere near to this extent before.

Local residents have the opportunity to choose a new artwork for the high-profile Cockburn Station Tower, with the infamous Cockburn Faces now officially a thing of the past.
Three artworks designed by local Western Australian artists have been shortlisted for community feedback.
The art pieces have been created by WA artists Penny Bovell and John Toohey, Kerise Delcoure, and Midvale company Signs and Lines and, coincidentally, each artwork features an interpretation of the Western Australian Carnaby’s black cockatoo.
