A disability pensioner is devastated and traumatised after her elderly rescue dog Roxy was viciously mauled to death in front of her.
Annette, 60, was collecting mail with her 14-year-old fox terrier Roxy on New Year s Day when two other dogs roaming the streets attacked.
Annette watched on in horror as Roxy was pinned down, had her stomach slashed and ribs broken.
Two male neighbours ran across the road and desperately tried to intervene to stop the attack.

The 60 year old Nerang woman Annette was collecting the mail with her pet of over a decade Roxy at 4.30pm when three roaming dogs came on to her property at Yarrayne Road. Two of the animals allegedly turned on the elderly dog fatally crushing her ribs and slashing her stomach. Roxy the foxy was killed after she was mauled by three dogs who entered her ownerâs property.
