Pampore: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson and a prominent national leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain on Tuesday addressed a public gathering in a village in Pampore block of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Hussain was campaigning for Bharatiya Janata Party nominated candidate for District Development Council (DDC) elections from Pampore block, Babeta Bhat.
Addressing the gathering at Mondakpal Ladhoo village of Pampore block, Hussain trained his guns at Congress and PAGD.
“These parties have no standing now. The Nehru’s Congress is on the verge of collapsing. The National Conference and PDP merged to form PAGD because they are scared by the rise of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kashmir,” Hussain said. He assured the gathering that he would raise the issue of ban on stone quarries at an appropriate level.

Islamabad : The moviegoers hoped that a drive-in cinema that is going to be launched on 11th of next month would not only be a new fun provider during the pandemic but would also ensure the entertainment at comparatively low rates.
Yaqoob Malik, a local resident, said: “I like the concept of drive-ins as a way to phase in getting back to normal. The drive-in cinema is uniquely suited to thrive while most multiplexes stay closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.”
In a bid to provide a recreational activity to the residents during the times of the coronavirus pandemic, the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration in collaboration with the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to open up a drive-in cinema at Parade Ground, Shakarparian.
