The talks began at 9:30 am at the Chushul Moldo meeting point on the Indian side of the LAC in the region, and ended at around 10 pm, news agency PTI reported.
Military Commanders of India and China on Sunday sat down with their delegations to hold discussions to end the Line of Actual Control (LAC) stalemate in eastern Ladakh.
The Indian and Chinese armies agreed to work out a mutually acceptable resolution of the remaining issues in eastern Ladakh at the earliest during their 16th round of high-level talks on Sunday.
A joint statement by the two sides said it was reaffirmed that the resolution of pending issues would help in the restoration of peace and tranquility along LAC in the region and enable progress in bilateral relations.
