Sequoia, the presidential wooden yacht. Vintage Yacht Charters, a new company launching in DC this summer, aims to bring some of the old-world charm and romance back to the water with two midcentury vessels available for small private parties. Chef Bin Lu, an alum of Pineapple and Pearls, CityZen, and Bourbon Steak, is at the helm for catering anything from jaunty picnic lunches to sunset cocktail parties or multi-course dinners.

Sofia Bevarly took to Instagram to promote one of her upcoming events in the hottest way possible. She brought the heat to her page on January 31 with a tantalizing bikini picture that has earned a ton of attention from her audience.
The Florida-born beauty was pictured standing on a swim ladder on the side of a boat. The setting featured a stretch of bright blue ocean water with a few yachts anchored in a row. She grabbed a rope in one hand and her other one extended outside the frame. Sofia appeared to be taking a step up, as one of her feet was higher than the other. She met the lens with a grin. Since the borders opened to tourists on Dec. 1, the Virgin Islands has nine active cases of Covid-19 among recent arrivals, some of whom recently breached quarantine procedures, officials said this week.
Currently, all of the cases are in quarantine, and the Ministry of Health and Social Development is tracing contacts to try to stem any possible spread, according to a Tuesday circular issued by government, which asked anyone who visited the Willy T between 3 and 6 p.m. on Friday or Pusserâs in Sopers
