ATMA organises exhibition-cum-sales day programme

Dimapur, Aug. 16 (EMN): The Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Dimapur, organised an ‘Exhibition cum sales day’ as part of the celebration of 76th Independence Day at DDSC stadium, Dimapur, on August 15. According to a DIPR report, the exhibition-cum-sales event was inaugurated by advisor of Power department, H Tovihoto Ayemi. Two ATMA units namely Yaosmai SHG of Doyapur village under Dhansiripar sub-division and Xaqheni SHG of Hovishe village under Niuland district displayed agriculture produce in their respective stalls. The agri-allied department Horticulture, Fishery, Soil & Water Conservation, Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry and Co-operation departments also set up stalls to showcase a variety of activities and produce from the district. He stated this while formally inaugurating the NDPP office of Pughoboto region in Pughoboto town under Zunheboto district on August 13. Plantation drive marks WSTH foundation day

Our ReporterDimapur, June 7 (EMN): To mark the launch of its year-long silver jubilee celebration, the Western Sumi Totimi Hoho (WSTH) organised a plantation drive at Sumi Cultural Centre in Vihokhu village under Niuland district on Tuesday. The event also marked the 24th foundation day of WSTH Formed in the year 1998, WSTH will celebrate its silver jubilee day on June 7, 2023. It covers nine areas and has 15 units. WSTH president, Visheli S Yeptho, said that the programme was organised to commemorate the World Environment Day coinciding with its foundation day on June 7.
