Mahindra and Mahindra has launched two new variants of the Mahindra XUV 400, the EC Pro and EL Pro. The EC Pro is priced at Rs 15.49 lakh, while the EL Pro is priced at Rs 16.47 lakh for the 34.5 kWh battery option and Rs 17.49 lakh for the 39.4 kWh battery option. These new variants come with a redesigned dashboard, upgraded infotainment system, and a host of new features.

Maruti Suzuki to launch first EV in 2023-24.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd will launch its first battery electric vehicle in India in 2023-24 (Apr-Mar), and will subsequently bring five more electric vehicles by the end of the decade, the company said in a release.
Parent company Suzuki Motor Corp also plans to invest 4.5 trln yen (2.82 trln rupees) on its electrification drive by 2029-30.
