Amazing cast to wow viewers in SA s latest film The Gang

Amazing cast to wow viewers in SA’s latest film The Gang By Staff Reporter Share Johannesburg - Azania Productions, Blessers, Broken Promises 4 Ever, has completed principal photography on the company’s latest comedy feature, The Gang. The film was shot over five weeks in Joburg and surrounds. Directed by Kganki “Star” Mphahlele from a script by Sasa Nqabeni, The Gang marks the 7th feature film completed under the Azania Productions banner and the first buddy movie in a string of comedies. When Paul’s (Kagiso Modupe) slay queen fiancée dumps him, shortly after their engagement, not content with only keeping the massive diamond engagement ring, she also cleans out his home, riding off into the sunset with all his possessions.

Dethroned: Why are The Queen losing viewers and actors?

Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen has lost more than 300 000 viewers in the last three months since Zandile Msutwana, who plays the role of detective Vuyiswa Maake, was replaced by Thembisa Mdoda. To top this off, Thato (Xolani Mayekiso) was also written out of the show when he was killed.  Award-winning actress Mdoda has just not been able to win over the audience with her portrayal of Vuyiswa as fans say they could relate more to Msutwana’s portrayal of the ruthless character. Vuyiswa drinking beer?! The Queen fans were up in arms because Mdoda is seen drinking beer in one scene as opposed to Msutwana who only drank red wine since she stepped into the shoes of Vuyiswa in season one. Thato who viewers used to perceive as somewhat of a “couch character” will be starring in the film
