OCOTILLO, Calif. – U.S. Border Patrol agents from El Centro Sector rescued a lost undocumented noncitizen in the Jacumba Wilderness region near Ocotillo.
The incident occurred Sunday morning at approximately 1:30 a.m., when El Centro Sector Communications Dispatch notified El Centro Station agents of a distress call made by an individual who illegally crossed the United States/ Mexico international boundary.
The undocumented noncitizen called 9-1-1 and stated that he was left behind by a group and was lost. Agents were able to call the undocumented noncitizen on his cell phone and determined that he was in the Jacumba Wilderness areas, a mountainous region located 27 miles west of Calexico. PENITAS, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents arrest two criminal aliens over the weekend.
Friday morning, McAllen Border Patrol Station (MCS) agents apprehended a group of eight subjects near Penitas, Texas. Record checks revealed one subject, later identified as Pedro Coronado Jr., has an extensive criminal record to include an arrest by the Aransas Pass Police Department for indecency with a child sexual contact a 2nd degree felony. The subject was sentenced to 10 years of probation.
Yesterday, MCS agents working near Penitas, apprehended several subjects after they illegally entered the United States.

SALTON CITY, Calif. –El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Highway 86 immigration checkpoint arrested a man suspected of smuggling eight illegal aliens Friday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m., when a man driving a semi tractor-trailer hauling a reefer approached the checkpoint.
Agents conducted an immigration check on the driver in the primary inspection area. Agents noticed that the driver was visibly nervous and referred him to secondary for further inspection.

EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Border Patrol agents disrupt a human smuggling stash house operating in the Rio Grande Valley.
Yesterday, the Pharr Police Department contacted RGV agents requesting their assistance with a possible human smuggling stash house operating in Pharr, Texas. When agents and officers arrived on scene, they discovered 71 illegal aliens inside the home.
Agents determined the subjects were from the countries of Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and Honduras.
