Robert Lee Emary
Robert Lee Emary was born on June 21, 1935 at Havelock, Iowa to Lloyd and Florence Herscher Emary. Bob attended rural school in Palo Alto County, Iowa and Emmetsburg, Iowa, where he graduated from Emmetsburg High School in 1953. He attended Emmetsburg Junior College in 1955, then on to Mankato State College, where he graduated with a BS degree in 1957 and an MS degree in 1963. Bob married the love of his life, Judith Rolfson, on August 11, 1957 in Graettinger, Iowa. He served in the US Army Reserves for 12 years including a tour of duty in Vietnam during 1968-69. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in Vietnam. Bob was proud to be of service to his Country. He would also teach classes and give lectures on his experiences there.
Carol Jean White
Carol Jean White was born May 9, 1962, in Adrian, MN, the daughter of George and Doris Schoneman. She attended school in Adrian until 6th grade at which time her parents bought a farm and moved to Flandreau, SD. She graduated from Flandreau High School in 1980 and attended one year at Rochester Vocational School for Child Development. She then moved to Worthington and worked at Crippled Children’s Home. She met Chuck White in 1986 and they married in 1990. Other jobs she had included Subway, housekeeping for Holiday Inn Express and Americ Inn. In the early years of their marriage, Chuck and Carol enjoyed camping and fishing. Carol’s hobbies include planting plants and flowers, putting puzzles together, K’nex, rummaging, and going to the casino on occasion. Carol was an awesome cook and was known for her calico beans and chicken enchiladas. In fact on one occasion she brought something else and not calico beans to a family holiday gathering. Ev
