GSMA, the global telecom operators body, has raised concerns about India s approach to the 6 GHz spectrum band at the ongoing World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-23). In a letter to Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, GSMA Director General Mats Granryd requested support for the mid-band for international mobile telecommunications (IMT). GSMA emphasized the importance of the 6 GHz band for affordable 5G services, urging positive steps at WRC-23
